The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye yesterday evening led thousands of worshippers in Abuja to pray for the final cessation to the biting fuel scarcity that has almost grounded economic activities in the country to a halt.
Daddy GO, as he is fondly called, led the prayer session after mounting the pulpit during the monthly Divine Encounter programme held at the National Stadium in Abuja, on Monday evening.
The event was attended by Vice PresidentYemi Osinbajo and his wife, Dolapo, Chief of Defence Staff, Major General Abayomi Gabriel Olonisakin, the Minister for Health, Professor Isaac Adewole.
The worshipers desperately supplicated to God for immediate and final solution to the energy debacle after Adeboye charged them to “Pray that the fuel scarcity be over soon and pray that this will be the last time we will ever have such occurrence in the country.”
While wondering how the worshipers were able to maneuver their way to the stadium in their numbers despite the excruciating fuel shortage, the cleric appreciated them for the never-say-die spirit, even as he prayed God to multiply and give the congregants a new song.
