How have you been rocking your crown as Miss Heritage Africa?
As Miss Heritage Africa, I have been rocking my crown peacefully With God by me, everything has been smooth.
What are some of the projects you have carried out while in office?
With the help of my foundation (The Blessed Royal Jewel Foundation) God has helped me to put smiles on the faces of countless children across the country by giving them hope to survive and believe in themselves, we are also into skills acquisition and youth empowerment, getting girls off the streets and giving them another and better means of living.
Being a beauty queen twice in a row and bagging a political appointment, what are you most grateful for?
With all my achievements in a short time simultaneously, I can only but give all the glory to God Almighty for His sufficient grace in my life. I am super grateful to God for everything because in my unfaithfulness, God has been gracefully faithful to me. I can boldly say God has taken my matter very personal.
In a couple of weeks you will be getting married, how do you feel about that?
I feel super blessed and excited as well because that’s every woman’s dream I guess, that after everything you do and try to achieve God will bless you with a home to call yours with a good man by your side.
Can you introduce the lucky man?
My fiancĂ© isn’t the public type and doesn’t like to be in the news for reasons best known to him and respect that always. He’s calm, God fearing and handsome above all very much in love with me because he calls me his pride.
How did you two meet and what attracted you to him?
We met in my home town during one my visit home for a state function in honour of my governor, I will say the attraction was a chemistry thing because his personality is really daring and yeah he’s cute too.
At what point in the relationship did you notice he was the right man for you?
This is my reality now because frankly speaking I never saw myself settling down as a wife now but when I met him everything changed and I began to believe in certain things I refused to believe like there’s no true love enough to make me become a wife. But now I have seen a force bigger than me and that’s LOVE.
How did he propose, were you expecting it or it came as a surprise?
He always spoke about marriage and I always try to shy away from the subject. He’s not the social type, he’s very reserved more of an introvert that’s an exact opposite of me until he woke me up from sleep on a very cold evening with a very shaky voice popping the question and putting the ring on my finger without even letting me complete the reply. I will say I was expecting it but not on that day and the way it came. I always wanted a fairytale surprised engagement (only in my head though).
Describe your man in one word?
AMAZING
Any plans on clinching another political post?
No plans yet! First of all let me learn few more things from the boss on how the business is done. Let God’s will be done concerning my life as always.
