Fire Guts Stanbic IBTC Bank Building, Destroys Properties Worth Millions

Yesterday, fire gutted a Stanbic IBTC building located at Abesan estate along Ipaja, Lagos and the bank branch lost properties worth millions of naira to the fire that started towards evening.
The police attached to the bank said that the fire started after a tanker discharging diesel into the bank’s generator caught fire.
According to a source, all the branch staff and workers escaped. Some of the cars parked within the premises were completely burnt. It took hours before the fire could be put out by fire men.
