Season of Rape in Nasarawa As HIV Man + Rapes Girl..

This, no doubt, is a season of harvest of rape suspects for the Nasarawa State Police Command.
This is even as the command has arrested one Abubakar Atiku, who is HIV positive for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl in Karu.
The Spokesman of the Command, Umaru Numan Ismaila, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), disclosed this in a statement.

“Last week, a complaint was logged at Mararaba ‘A’ Division, Karu, that a 15-year- old girl left home to sell sachet water but could not return.
“While searching for her from one house to the other, she was found naked in the house of one Abubakar Atiku.
“Preliminary investigation revealed that Abubakar seized the money the girl realised from the sales of the sachet water and lured her to his house on the pretence that he was going to pay her the money.”
The spokesman further explained that the suspect forcefully had unlawful carnal knowledge of the girl throughout the night until she was rescued by her uncle.
He disclosed that after medical tests were conducted, the suspect was confirmed to be HIV positive, while the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), he said, is currently investigating the matter.
In a related development, Police operatives attached to Abacha Road Division have arrested two suspects including Felix Tochukwu and Victor Nwokolo, both teachers of Pilot Science Secondary School, Mararaba for allegedly intoxicating and raping a 16-year-old girl.
The girl is a student of the school.
According to the Nasarawa State Command Spokesman, the said Felix Tochukwu who was celebrating his birthday party at Jardin Garden Joint invited the victim and maliciously gave her Macdowel alcoholic hot drink, hence getting her intoxicated.
“Victor Nwokolo then used the opportunity to take full advantage of the victim and had unlawful carnal knowledge of her.”
The command has therefore warned parents and school proprietors to constantly monitor the relationship between their children and their teachers as well as between teachers and the pupils respectively.
State crime investigation unit is currently on top of the case.
The Command has also picked a 22-year-old, Adamu Hassan of Galadima ward in Doma for having sex with a 10-year-old boy.
The suspect was arrested and taken to the police by a Good Samaritan who got the first hand information of the sodomy from the 10-year-old.
Evidence from preliminary investigations, the police said, revealed that the offence was committed.
