Manchester United and England captain Wayne Rooney says he would match the likes of Anthony Martial, Antonio Valencia and Luke Shaw for speed.

Being asked various questions by teammate Ashley Young during a live stream Q&A on Facebook, Rooney named Dalye Blind as the club’s slowest player
Rooney however hailed the Dutchman saying whatever he lacked in speed, he made up for with a quick brain.

Rooney also claimed to be one of the fastest players in the squad, mentioning his own name, along with Anthony Martial, Antonio Valencia and Luke Shaw, as well as Young, when someone asked who was the fastest player at United.
