The Adaxson community in the LASU area of Lagos state has been thrown into frenzy following an attack by suspected militants from the Niger Delta region.
The attack was carried out on Tuesday, July 26 and multiple sources said many people were killed as the militants entered into people’s houses to torment them.

A report by the Eagle Online said the militants attacked the patrol van in which the policemen drove and that the car was left riddled with bullets.
Soldiers were drafted to the scene where another round of gun battle began leaving residents trapped in their houses.
The report said the militants were overpowered and that they retreated to the Igando Creek.
The report said the militants are also battling with another set of militants in the creek over a deal gun sour.
Sources said the money, which came from the deal that took place in Ikorodu area of the state, was whisked away by one of the militants who was tracked to the Igando creek and that this was the genesis of the gun duel experienced in the area early Tuesday, July 26.
