It was heartbreaking moment for two young Nigerian siblings, 10 and
11 after they lost their mother in Lybia on their way to Europe.
The incident occurred while they were trying to cross the
Mediterranean ocean into Italy with other Sub-saharan refugees and
migrants rescued from their overcrowded rubber boat off the coast of
Libya by a Spanish NGO’s boat.
According to the leading migration group, more than 3000 people have
died trying to cross the Mediterranean this year, which is nearly a
60percent increase from this time in 2015. See photos after cut:
