See which institutions Nigerians have most faith in (infographics)

nigerians

It would be fair to say that many Nigerians have little to no faith in government institutions.
With Nigeria still one of the most corrupt countries on earth, our nation’s view of public and tax funded organisations is often a negative one.
When President Muhammadu Buhari even agrees that our country is fantastically corrupt, can any of us really be surprised?

It might not surprise you that the most trusted public organization in Nigeria is the army.
All in all, 57% of Nigerians trust our ground forces, making it the only institution trusted by a majority of Nigerians, welcome news for our brave soldiers fighting against Boko Haram.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) comes second despite recent controversy about the alleged politicization of the EFCC’s investigations.
The presidency remains relatively popular, but President Buhari’s administration remains under fire for the recent fuel subsidy removal.
Are you surprised with what came last? Nigeria’s police officers are often slammed for their attitudes and corrupt practices, so we are not surprised they turned up second last.
Finally, Nigeria’s Senate polled just 7% of trust, and even with trust in politicians at an all-time low, that has to hurt!
Want to tell us which institution you trust the most? Comment, share, and do not hold your opinions back!
