Football fans all over the world have continued to react to Real Madrid’s sensational triumph at the 2015/2016 UEFA Champions League.
Los Blancos fought so hard to edge Atletico Madrid 5 – 3 on penalties as the epic final ended 1 – 1 after 120minutes.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored the winner, after Juanfran’s spot kick crashed unto the wood-work to give Zinedine Zidane’s men an advantage in the penalty shootout.
It was a battle of the titans as the game lived up to expectation as it had all ‘ingredients’ of what a final should be.
Recall that Gerard Pique and some other Barcelona players made mockery of Real Madrid during the Catalan giants’ parade, after they won the La Liga.
Ahead of the UEFA Champions League final, a good number Barcelona players stated publicly that they preferred Atletico to win the Champions League, hoping Real Madrid do not take home anything this season.
In retaliation, Real Madrid fans hit their Barcelona counterparts hard after Los Blancos defeated Atletico to win the Champions League final.
