Natural hair front runner Kate Henshaw talks on her getting inspired by a
fellow natural hair campaigner, Chinwe Juliet, her own reason for going
team natural hair since about five years ago.
Kate wrote, “#TBT Last week Thursday, the 1st day of the @africanhairsummit event. I walked onto the red carpet for interviews…through the sea of heads, I noticed her…I said to myself ‘that cannot be her hair”… I walked to my seat, she came to say hello…I told her to sit right by my side! Whaaaat??!!! It was ALL her hair ooo I was inspired, jealous even..”
She added “I consoled myself that we are all different genetically which we are and I was proud to have made the decision to go natural more than 5 years ago..cos I want hair in my old age abeg. I am a Nappy haired girl and so so in love with my journey. Here is to you @igbocurls . It was lovely to meet you dearie and your beautiful mum.
