The Minister of Foreign Affairs,
Mr Geoffrey Onyeama,
has disclosed that Switzerland is set to return a non-contentious fund
of about $230 million to Nigeria. Onyeama made this known while
briefing journalists at a conference to give a scorecard of the
achievements of President Buhari’s administration in the last one year.
The Minister further revealed that monies stolen
from Nigeria were also in the process of being repatriated from other
countries like the UK, US and Jersey Island off the coast of the United
Kingdom, Lensisteine.
He also disclosed that the federal government was also negotiating
with countries in the gulf to recover stolen money from the country. On
President Buhari’s foreign trips,the Minister said the many trips were
in the interest of the nation.

These returns were some of the benefits of the President’s interaction with the international community since he took over,” Onyeama said.
