As we enjoy this season of love, one of
Nigeria’s finest vocalists, Simi, has decided to serenade her fans with
her latest work which she titled ‘Love don’t care.’ In the lovely song,
the singer uses her sonorous voice to urge Nigerians to love without
borders.
She uses the song to argue that love is
beyond tribe, money, societal status, race or belief, teaching people
the true meaning of Valentine and ascertaining that love can’t be
stopped from expressing its true essence.
She said, “Love doesn’t care about anything but Love.”
Simi who wormed her way into the hearts
of Nigerians with the release of her songs, “Ara-Ile” “Tiff” and “JAMB
Question” recently released a dance video ‘Open and Close,’ a polish
blend of pop and fuji music.
Her song “JAMB Question” got an amazing
review from prominent Nigerian filmmakers and entertainment critics and
bagged three nominations at the just concluded Headies Awards.
She won The Most Promising Act at the
NEA and City People Awards 2015. Her outstanding talent together with
her mastery of music and sound has made her songs some of the most aired
on Nigerian airwaves.
