The International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) have thrown Nigeria's 4x400m women's relay team out of next month's Olympic Games in Brazil, Complete Sports reports.

The wife, Mrs. Nwadiokeonu Nwachukwu, is now at a hospital in Aba, while her severed hand had been taken to her husband’s village at Abala for burial. The sad incident happened on Monday, at Ogbor Hill, Aba, where the woman had lived for years, while the husband stayed in the village.

A 5 year-old girl in Australia, Jocelyn Lewis has been found safe and well after disappearing during a game of hide and seek. She was discovered under a motorway and was missing for nearly 24 hours.
Her discovery ended a Queensland Police search which mobilised over 160 officers and volunteers.Members of the public also joined the search and left blankets and water out for the child.
