Bin Laden left millions of Dollars for jihad in handwritten will
Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden had
millions of dollars stashed in Sudan and wanted most of it to be used to
fund jihad, according to a handwritten will released Tuesday.
The document was among a tranche of
newly declassified files that had been seized by Navy SEALs on May 2,
2011 when they descended on Bin Laden’s hideout in the Pakistani
garrison town of Abbottabad and killed him.

TERROR boss Osama Bin Laden left more than £20million to fund Al Qaeda attacks on the West, his will reveals. Released yesterday, it was seized along with around 100 other documents when Bin laden was killed by US Navy Seals at his lair in Pakistan in 2011. It shows he wanted the bulk of his wealth to be used “on jihad, for the sake of Allah”.

In his handwritten will, al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden claimed he had
about $44 million in personal wealth - the bulk of which he wanted to be
used "on jihad, for the sake of Allah".
The will was released overnight in a
batch of more than 100 documents seized in a May 2011 raid that killed
bin Laden at his compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan.
The al-Qaida leader planned to
divide his fortune among his relatives, but wanted most of it spent to
conduct the work of the Islamic extremist terror network behind the
September 11 attacks.

Chief Olu Falae, on Tuesday escaped death when one of the policemen
escorting a bullion van opened fire on the vehicle conveying the
politician.

UBA appoints Kennedy Uzoka as Group Managing Director, Victor Osadolor as Deputy MD
The UBA Group Board Tuesday approved the appointment of Kennedy Uzoka

Gunmen abduct former security officer in Nigeria
LAGOS, March 1 (Xinhua) -- Unknown gunmen on Tuesday abducted a
retired officer of the Nigerian State Security Service in the
north-central state of Taraba, local police said.

The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Mrs. Celestina Kalu, who confirmed the arrest of the teenage girls and the unidentified young lady, said they confessed they were given N10, 000 each for the night.

doctor, a nurse and a pregnant woman, following an outbreak of Lassa

Church security guards arraigned for stealing N500,000 tithes
Four security guards who allegedly stole the sum of N500, 000 from
the tithe box of a church were on Monday arraigned before a Tinubu
Magistrates’ Court sitting in Lagos State.
The prosecutor, Inspector Richard Odigie, told the court that the accused Tajudeen Shoni, 64, Taiwo Akintola, 39, Bright Innocent, 28 and Amos Danjuma, 20, committed the offence on January 25, at about 4am.
Odigie said the accused conspired to steal N500, 000 from the tithe box belonging to Ascension Anglican Church at Alasia bus stop, Badore Road, Eti-Osa area of the state.

Drama as thief gets locked inside victim’s car during operation in Lagos
A suspected burglar, one Jamiu Anisoro was, at the weekend, arrested
by detectives attached to the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, FSRAS,
Ikeja, Lagos State Police Command, after he mysteriously got locked
inside a car he had allegedly broken into.
Anisoro, said to specialise in stealing cars or properties inside the car using an iron rod sharpened and shaped into a key, had purportedly burgled a car in the premises of Mainland Hotel, Oyingbo, Oto Railway Ebute-Metta and got trapped inside it.
